The Immigrant Ancestor Register: The Immigrant Ancestor Register (IAR) is maintained in order to share genealogical research and to establish a record for future reference. Submitted forms are filed at the Pal Am National Headquarters where they are available for review, after data has been extracted and published in The Palatine Immigrant. The IAR Registrar also maintains a record of all registered immigrants and of spouses whose names are known. The IAR indexes are not online yet.
The IAR registration will provide at least one firm date and place in America, evidence of foreign birth (may be arrival ship) and at least one child of the immigrant along with source documentation. Many times other information is included such as: other family members, places of residence, religion and date of naturalization; birth or christening dates and places.
Currently, the names of those IARs published are found in The Decennial Index, 1975 1985 for Volumes 1 10; The Decennial Index 1985 -1995, Volumes 11 20. An annual every-name index is published in the number 4 issue of The Palatine Immigrant for years 1995 2005 (except for Volumes 25 in 2000 and 26 in 2001)
